Appearance: Deep Lemon with very fine bubbles

Nose: Medium Intensity, Bready, Yeasty, Biscuit, Nutty, Mushroom, Truffle, Almond, Creamy, Yellow apple, Mineral Savoury, Honey, baked apple

Palate: Dry, Medium+ acidity, light body, mineral, finish with yellow apple, nutty, lemon zest and Biscuit

Conclusion: Very Good and can age



Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1967
12% abv

Appearance: Clear Medium Tawny with some tears

Nose: Clean, Earthy, Floor, tea leaves, Mushroom, Tobacco, Cedar, dried apricot, dried fig

Palate: Medium acidity, soft and silky medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity, medium finish with red currant, Caramel, Coffee, dried fig

Conclusion: Good and not suitable for aging


Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1981
12% abv

Appearance: Clear Medium Ruby

Nose: Clean, Medium intensity with tobacco, cedar, dark plum, tea leaves, chocolate, coffee

Palate: Dry, Medium+ acidity, medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, mineral, medium intensity, medium+ finish with plum, liquorice

Conclusion: Good and can age, lovely coffee aroma


Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1983
12% abv

Appearance: Clear, medium ruby

Nose: Clean, medium intensity, tobacco, cedar, pencil, dark plum, fig, blackberry, blackcurrant, vanilla

Palate: Dry, Medium+ acidity, Medium+ tannin, Medium alcohol, Medium+ body, Medium+ intensity, mineral savoury, medium finish with plum

Conclusion: Good and can age

Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1989
12.5% abv

Appearance: Clear, medium ruby

Nose: clean medium intensity, tobacco, cedar, pencil, dark plum, dark berry, blackcurrant, vanilla, fig, red currant

Palate: Dry, Medium+ acidity, medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ finish with mineral savoury, berry and red berries, still lively

Conclusion: Good and can age

Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1995 (Decanted)
13% abv

Appearance: Clear, medium ruby

Nose: Medium intensity, Tobacco, Pencil, vanilla, dark plum, dark berry, herbs

Palate: Medium+ tannin, Medium+ acidity, Medium+ body, Medium+ intensity, Medium alcohol, Medium+ finish with vanilla, mineral savoury, cedar

Conclusion: Good and can age


Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1998 (Decanted)

Appearance: Clear, Medium Ruby

Nose: Medium Intensity, tobacco, pencil, vanilla, blackcurrant

Palate: Dry, medium+ tannin, medium+ acidity, medium+ body, medium alcohol, medium+ finish with cedar, dark berry

Conclusion: Good and can age

Conclusion: Good and can age

Again Josmeyer 既酒其實係唔錯, 有質素, 價位唔高

依支 Hengst Samain 2009, 之前我飲過2次, 次次都會有唔同感覺

今次第3次飲, 又係唔同感覺

Domaine d’Eugenie

Domaine d’Eugenie 位於 Vosne Romanee，它一直被視為 Burgundy的頂尖的產酒名村，以複雜、優雅與較深沉的黑皮諾著名。自 2006 年 Chateau Latour莊主Francois Pinault 買下勃根地 Rene Engel酒廠，他為了紀念母親將其重酒莊從新命名為 Domaine d’Eugenie，現在酒莊由Chateau Latour總經理 Frederic Engerer直接管理，釀酒師則是Michel Mallard。

Domaine d’Eugenie 擁有約6公頃的葡萄，主要是Vosne Romaee、Vougoet及Flagey-Echezeaux等三個村莊。酒廠不使用任何化學除草劑，同時依據每個年份適當的除芽、除葉及除果以有效控制合理產量。村莊級採用40% 新桶陳釀最少12個月，一級園和特級園葡萄酒則分別採用 50% 和 70 % 新桶陳釀最少 15個月。

2012 Domaine d’Eugenie Vosne Romanee
30-50年的葡萄藤，單寧細緻，口感非常順滑甜美，是一款非常討好的葡萄酒。

2011 Domaine d’Eugenie Clos d’Eugenie
僅有 0.57 公頃的葡萄園，位於 La Tache 的正下方，2009年是第一個年份。香氣非常迷人，細緻，豐富，酒體優雅。

Nose: floral, matured dark berry, pencil, subtle gravel, subtle coconut
Palate: High acidity, soft and round texture and silky medium+ tannin, mineral, long finish with powerful dark berry, dry
Conclusion: Very Good and can age


Opus One 1997

82% Cabernet Sauvignon
8% Cabernet Franc
5% Merlot
4% Malbec
1% Petit Verdot

Appearance: Medium Ruby with orange hue
Nose: clove, liquorice spicy, herb, intense dark berry or cassis but not very cassis, cedars, pencil,
Palate: High acidity, dry, not silky, still gripping medium+ tannin, cedars finish, not lengthy finish as 2003, mineral
Conclusion: Good and can age comparing with 2003, i love 2003 more



Harlan Estate The Wine 1998 

14.5% abv
100% Cabernet Sauvignon 1st time 

Appearance: Deep Ruby with orangish-brown hue
Nose: pencil, cassis, cedars, smoky, hint of herb, vanilla
Palate: powerful, earthy, still gripping medium+ tannin, mineral, high acidity, dry, long finish
Conclusion: Very Good and can age


Harlan Estate The Wine 1996

14.5% abv

Appearance: Medium Ruby with orangish-brown hue
Nose: Pencil, cedars, leather, vanilla, gravel, cassis, hint of fig
Palate: High acidity, high tannin, long finish, dry, still very tannic, lively
Conclusion: Very Good and can age



Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

14.8% abv
82% Cabernet Sauvignon
18% Merlot 

Too tannic Cabernet Franc not use in 2006

Appearance: Deep Ruby with purple hue
Nose: Smoky, Vanilla, Herb, Sweet perfume, red fruit
Palate: High acidity, round medium+ tannin, long finish with sweet spice, dry, powerful, lively
Conclusion: Very Good and can age more

Conclusion: Very Good and can age but maybe near to peak

Palate: Medium acidity, soft and round texture and medium tannin, long finish with sweet plum, still lively
Conclusion: Very Good and can age more, better than 1994



同場加映多支2008 Corton-Charlemagne opened more than 24hrs

保留好高酸度，Lemon, lime

Conclusion:
- Opus One 2003 好過 1997

- Harlan Estate 1996 同 1998 比較唔到, 因為1998 係100% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1996 係有其他Grapes eg Merlot, Cabernet Franc etc. 所以氣味上已經有唔同既地方, 個人覺得 1996 較好, 因為氣味上較complex, 1998就口感上較強烈, 所以呢, 比較唔到, 但Harlan 較為fruity !

- Screaming Eagle 1994, 1995, 2006之中, 我就like 1995 多d, 因為佢仲有生命力, 1994 已經到peak, Jeannie MW係2015年試左1994同1995 Screaming Eagle, 1994個支佢係比左100分, 但2年後既今日, 我覺得冇100分, 可能支酒 condition, storage condition, serving condition, wine glass 既影響, 如果以tasting 角度上, 我覺得冇咁intense. 相反, 1995個支佢比左96分, 但2年後既今日, 我覺得有96分或以上, 因為支酒有生命力, 仲可以再變化. 2006個支就可以輕鬆飲, 又可以擺多20年以上


如果每個莊只可以揀一支, 最好飲係 Screaming Eagle 1995, 之後 Harlan 1996, 之後 Opus One 2003
